Observations
Pictory’s homepage is jam-packed with various angles and elements that are attempting to earn our trust and entice us to sign up.
Personally, I think it’s a good page.
However I can see the argument that it’s not focused.
Not sure I would have even gotten that level of insight just reading it though.
Just another benefit of these annotations.
I would love to get a look “under the hood” or a/b test this.
Here is what I would try:
Get rid of the CTA/Incentive on the left, keep the one in the top right corner.
shorten the copy on the left and lean more on the headline “easy video creation for content marketers”.
keep the social proof and the example video on the right.
